Cheese Curds

In America’s Dairyland, cheese is almost inescapable. So it reasons the state’s de facto bar snack and appetizer would be these little fried balls of cheese, often served with marinara sauce like mozzarella sticks. They’re the only way to start any meal in Wisconsin, generally chased with a beer or a brandy Old Fashioned.
