St. Louis-Style Pizza
Missouri actually has a few must-try foods, from the spicy toasted ravioli in St. Louis to smoky brisket in Kansas City. But the only one that’s nearly impossible to find outside the state is St. Louis-style pizza. The cracker-thin crust topped with sweet tomato sauce and Provel cheese is as polarizing as a pizza gets. Fans will tell you the thin crust lets you pile on toppings without the pie turning soggy. Haters point out it tastes like grocery store frozen pizza.
