Huckleberry Ice Cream

Montana tends to go a little overboard with the huckleberries. Cruise around Big Sky Country and you’ll find them in pretty much every food you could imagine, from hamburgers to hot sauce, pizza and pancakes. You don’t need to get crazy to appreciate how wonderful fresh huckleberries are in Montana, though. You need only find a place serving homemade huckleberry ice cream, especially refreshing after a long hike or a day of fly fishing.
